TMZ World News is likely banking on the familiarity of TMZ to add credibility (which for some is part of the joke in and of itself). But on their contact us page:

In fact, TMZWorldNews.com links to TheCelebricity.com Facebook page, whose long description is:
The lack of a semi-colon is but one of many missed opportunities.
TMZWorldNews can certainly be entertaining — of that there is little doubt. Their article about KKK members committing suicide en masse over the Harriet Tubman $20 bill got a fair bit more than a chuckle out of everyone at RoS. And occasionally, they don’t need to doctor up the story, as with the photo of Michelle Obama and Former President Bush (the sequel) hugging it out at recent opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
(But that certainly doesn’t put them off the hook for the “Obama Kisses Men” article.)
The site is more Clickbait than Satire and includes other similar sites (TMZWorldStar, TMZHipHop, TMZUncut) and likely anything associated with The Celebricity. At any rate, they’re all the same: fake-news.
