924jeremiah.wordpress.com

Man! Whoever runs 924jeremiah.wordpress.com are doing a bang-up job! Tons of content that on first glance appears to be unique. Accounts all over the social media spectrum, from Facebook to Youtube. Even a podcast! They are either heavily dedicated to Poe’s Law, or heavily dedicated to their beliefs. Either way, kudos to them. Within the context of their religious platform,…

worldtruthtv.com

At the time this site was submitted, there is no WorldTruthTV.com. There is, however, a WorldTruth.tv, which is a much better URL — if not any better information. So . . .

worldnewsdailyreport.com

If you wish to believe that Apple Annouces[sic] Release of Paranormal Communication Application or that a New Gandhi Movie Shocks India, then World News Daily Report is the site for you. But kindly leave our boots well and dry, thank you very much. World News Daily Report follows the old-school Tabloid-styled faux-journalism of its predecessors, such as the Weekly World…

poacencur.com

I don’t know what Poacencur is, though it sounds painful. But on the footer of their page, it reads — This website is a satire and should be treated like one. We do not own any of the content, which may be removed by anyone. — so . . . that’s that.

hamptonroads.com

From their ABOUT US page: PilotOnline.com and HamptonRoads.com are Web sites produced by The Virginian-Pilot, which is owned by Landmark Media Enterprises L.L.C., based in Norfolk, Va. The Web sites serve the greater Hampton Roads metro area, stretching from Williamsburg to the north, Virginia Beach to the east, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina to the south. As far…

reductress.com

The Reductress is another site that wears their satirical nature on their sleeve. But that’s not the only reason why we love this well written site:

objectiveministries.org

ObjectiveMinistries.org once had an article about kangaroos existing in the Middle East. It’s satire; in particular, Poe’s Law. They even go on a tirade against another parody/satire site, Landover Baptist Church. This site hasn’t been updated in awhile.

savethehumans.com

This site’s last article was from 2012; however, hyper-linking and sharing has no expiration date. While this site is satire, it’s goal is definitely to affect opinion, probably mostly through ridicule.

wetindeyng.blogspot.se

Wetindeyng is dubious at best. And this goes for its mirror-site (or whatever) www.wetindey.com. It is a repository of articles, usually without commentary and definitely without fact-checking. For instance, making the rounds now (again) is an old tale about how a pretty girl seeking a rich husband got a shocking Investment banker’s reply. And here’s the Snopes article on it.…

africametro.com

africametro.com’s stated goal is to “provide access to a full range of what Africans themselves are saying, thinking and publishing [. . .].” But are they real or satire?
